Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans. On the Hong Kong-Guangzhou expressway, Yan (Huang Yi) and Hui (Louis Koo) had been living in different lanes - Yan ran a roadside diner with her husband Cheung, while hui worked as a truck driver passing by daily. Their lives never intersect until one stormy night, when Cheung's motorcycle crashed into Hui's truck. Cheung died soon afterward, and Hui wished he were too. In addition to his unbearable guilt, Hui also lost his truck and livelihood due to further police investigation. Hui returned to Hong Kong and sought solace from his fiancee Susan (Karen Mok). But without any income, their wedding was on the brink of cancellation.

Life seemed to have no way out. Yan was in labor and overwhelmed by Hui's affection and care. Yet she believed his love was merely misguided sympathy, and they were meant to go on separate ways. As Hui broke up with Susan to be with Yan, he was shocked to find both Yan and the diner were gone. Where could he find the road that lead to Yan's heart...?!

Ghost in the Shell director Oshii Mamoru takes on live-action for the first time in eight years with the sci-fi action film Assault Girls. A continuation of his shorts in the omnibus films Kill and Shin Onna Tachiguishi Retsuden, Assault Girls stars hot young actresses Kikuchi Rinko (Babel), Saeki Hinako (Trick), and Kuroki Meisa (Crows Zero) as three butt-kicking warriors in a post-apocalyptic future. Fans of the director will immediately recognize his traits: deliberate pacing, cerebral storytelling, and a haunting score by Kawai Kenji. Similar to Miike Takashi's Sukiyaki Western Django, Oshii decided to shoot most of Assault Girls in English - a major challenge to his stars (and possibly to his viewers).

In a virtual world called Avalon, four warriors - Gray (Kuroki Meisa), Colonel (Saeki Hinako), Lucifer (Kikuchi Rinko), and Jager (Fujiku Yoshikatsu) - band together to fight a giant sand monster destroying the world. They discover that there's only room for one survivor in their world, and they must play by the rules.

Donnie Yen will return once again in this month with his latest martial arts movie – Legend of the First: The Return of Chen Zhen. This time, Donnie Yen is portraying the fictitious martial arts hero Chen Zhen, a role which also been played by Bruce Lee in Fist of Fury and Jet Li in First of Legend. Directed by Andrew Lau, which also the co-producer with Gordan Chan, the spiritual sequel’s other casts including Shu Qi, Anthony Wong, Huang Bo and Yasuaki Kurata. While China is traumatized by military cliques during the Warlord Era in the 1920s, Shanghai is the cynosure of all eyes. People see it as both Hell’s Kitchen and Heaven’s Gate. Seven years later, a wealthy entrepreneur called Koo returns from abroad and makes a grand entrance on the Shanghai social scene by befriending the notorious mafia boss of the city.

This mysterious man is none other than Chen Zhen in disguise who dwells in a world of nefarious means in order to infiltrate the criminal empire. He soon discovers a clandestine collusion between the mafia and the Japanese. Disguised as a caped crusader at night, Chen sets out to dismantle with his martial arts skill the evil collusion that plaques the country. One of his foremost missions is to ferret out the assassination list prepared by the Japanese.

Every few years, there will be people who attempt to bring Cao Xueqin's Hong Lou Meng to the screen. As a result, we've got numerous film and television versions over the decades. A few years ago, Beijing's BTV announced its plan to make the definitive adaptation of the classical novel for the 21st century audience. They even held a nation-wide talent contest in 2007 as a public audition for the main roles, which eventually went to newcomers Yang Yang (as Jia Baoyu) and Jiang Mengjie (as Lin Daiyu), and rising starlet Michelle Bai (The Myth) as Xue Baochai. The supporting cast includes Yao Di (City of Life and Death) as Wang Xifeng, veteran actress Tsai Chin as Grandma Jia, Kuei Ya Lei as Lady Wang, Xie Linlang as Granny Liu, Xu Huanshan as Jia Zheng, and Chinese Paladin III's Yang Mi as Qingwen. Under the direction of Fifth Generation filmmaker Li Shaohong (Baober in Love, Return in Glory), the crew painstakingly built 1:1 sets of the Ningguo House, the Rongguo House, and the Grand View Garden in a 300-acre studio lot for the shoot. Besides, Oscar-winning art director Timmy Yip (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) "revolutionized" the wardrobe of the characters, giving this big-budget adaptation a visual style unlike any of the predecessors. Taking years to produce, the latest retelling of The Dream of Red Mansions is due out in summer 2010 to the huge anticipation of the Hong Lou Meng lovers.

During the Sino-Japanese War, Ip Man (Donnie Yen) protected the dignity of Chinese by his wushu (martial art). As he had beaten the Japanese army and made them mad, he had to escape. After the war, the family lived in Foshan and experienced hardship. Ip therefore went to Hong Kong to start a new page with his family in 1949.
Ip’s family arrived Hong Kong. Fortunate enough to have Leung Kan (Pierre Ngo), the chief editor of a newspaper, lending his roof to him for teaching Wing Chun there. A young man Wong Leung (Huang Xiao Ming) gathered a few of his boxing friends and asked Ip to be their master. Ip then had his first group of pupil.

At 3:42am on July 28, 1976, a massive earthquake struck Tangshan, China, devastating the city in merely 23 seconds and resulting in a death toll of more than 240,000. The catastrophe left a gaping wound in the consciousness of the nation, and some 34 years later,
In the aftermath of the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, a rescue team informs a mother that her seven-year-old twins Da and Deng are trapped together under a slab of concrete. Lifting the slab in any way will kill one of her children - lifting it one way will save the daughter at the expense of her son; lifting it the other will save the son at the expense of her daughter.

Heartbroken, she is forced to choose between her children, and finally decides to save the boy. Her decision, however, is overheard by her daughter, who whispers "Ma..." as the screen goes black. The mother clings to her daughter's body before being pulled away to take care of Da, "her one child who still lives." Later, in the midst of the rains following the earthquake, Deng wakes up in a sea of bodies, next to the body of her father. Reluctant to be returned to the woman who chose to abandon her, Deng is adopted, but remains emotionally scarred.

In 2008, she volunteers to join rescuers in the wake of the Sichuan earthquake and returns to China. Through the experience, she finds forgiveness for her family, and reunites with her mother and twin brother after 32 years.

After his father's death, he is taken in by his uncle, who allows him to perform as a clown, due to the fact that he has not apparently inherited the skills of his father; nevertheless, Sunny still has the wish to perform knife throwing. He is ridiculed and tormented by the children of his uncle, who are all skilled performers in his uncle's troupe. One day, Sunny stumbles upon the plan of the rest of the troupe to explore a cave rumored to be filled with gold. Instead of killing Sunny, they decide to use him as point for their exploration of the cave. They find crates filled with capsules, and force Sunny to open them. Inside the first are numerous plates of gold. They then try to kill Sunny, and continue opening the rest of the capsules. These contain experimental gas which transform them into superhuman monsters.

Faitless Hell 불신지옥 (2009)

Hee-Jin returns home to her mother when her young sister So-Jin has gone missing. So-Jin never fully recovered mentally from the car crash which killed their father, so Hee-Jin is worried sick. Their fanatically Christian mother on the other hand staunchly refuses to do anything but pray to God and hasn't even called the police yet. When Hee-Jin does involve a police detective he treats the situation as a regular runaway-case, and assumes the girl will return home soon by herself.

But when people living in the same building start committing suicide, each time leaving notes apologizing to So-Jin, both the detective and Hee-Jin start to investigate the circumstances surrounding the girl's disappearance. And soon they are confronted with evidence that So-Jin had developed special abilities like fortune-telling and faith-healing.
Different people have different interpretations of these powers though: according to her mother So-Jin is a savior sent by God, but others think she is possessed by an evil spirit while a local shaman has yet another take on this story. Both Hee-Jin and the police detective will have to evaluate what they themselves believe.

Mosquito and his fellows learned, in the streets of Monga, there is only one way to survive: be stronger than your enemies.

Mosquito, Monk, Dragon, White Monkey and A-Lan, five teenagers joined "Prince Gang", simple because Mosquito's lunch was snatched on his first day transferred to the high school in Monga, and they are all tired of being bullied. While they enjoy their young gangster lifestyle and ready to take over the streets, the powerful others have casted greedy eyes on the prosperous Monga. The kids just knew nothing about it.

Geta, the boss of one of the gangs in Monga, takes the responsibilities of explaining to the young gangsters the legacy that has been established by the founders of Monga, the fighting for resources and honors and the meaning of brotherhood. What Geta didn't know about, was the storm that was going to destroy all the orders remaining and the last glory of the Old Town Monga. The other gang, the flooding firearms, and new settlements between new forces were going to change his and the Prince Gang's nice little world.

蚊子轉進這家三流高職的第一天，午餐飯盒裡他最愛的那隻雞腿就被狗仔孩搶走了，蚊子不知哪來的勇氣，搶回了那根雞腿，一場從校門口到河堤的追逐戰就此展開。太子幫四人看到蚊子有如泥鰍般閃躲遁逃的身手，大樂，決定收他入幫。

隔天志龍領軍找來蚊子，在學校頂樓，將追打他的狗仔孩和體育班鐵人們獻祭給蚊子，讓他報仇個爽。“今天你不弄死他們，有一天你就會被他們弄死！” 在和尚那句堅定的話裡，臉上掛彩腫著一隻黑眼的蚊子，朝著其中一名鐵人奮力揮出生平第一枚主動攻擊的拳。接著，他加入太子幫，踏入黑道。

和尚講述艋舺歷史，教育蚊子，蚊子如同踏進大觀園，視野開展，世界遼闊。和尚送他回家，丟給他一個在黑暗中會發光的溜溜球，他胸口突然變得暖暖的，原來這種感覺就叫友情。“意義是三小？我只聽過義氣，沒聽過意義啦！”白猴的話超酷，簡直是無敵真理。這一切，都像迷幻藥，令蚊子上癮。

而小凝，是另一件令他上癮的事物。小凝是美與醜的綜合體，她的左臉美如天使，可右臉被一個巴掌大的綠色胎記盤據著。他問小凝“你為什麼要做妓女？”小凝不甘示弱回他“你為什麼要做兄弟？”隔壁傳來令人尷尬的打炮聲，他只好拿出隨身聽來，和小凝一副耳機，共聽一首曲。那天之後，小凝這就成了他的僻護所，他常常都想來，來看這個小學同學，那個有胎記的小女孩，他不會記錯。

在每天打打殺殺有仇必報的過程中，太子幫五人犯下了無法彌補的滔天大錯，和尚有種，頂下這一切，因此被志龍的父親（廟口老大Geta）打得只剩半條命。和尚傷癒後，Geta送五人上山習武，是懲罰，也是鍛鍊，要他們理解出來打拼是靠拳頭，決不能碰槍枝，這個來自西方的邪惡。

下山的那天，在溫泉餐廳的晚宴中，蚊子意外遇見了來與艋舺老大們談合作計畫的外省掛青壯派幫主灰狼，他母親的舊情人。而和尚察覺了蚊子的不對勁，以及席間的暗潮洶湧。

Geta 拒絕與外省掛合作，引起艋舺另一角頭後壁厝成員文謙的不滿，文謙勸說灰狼，這局要成，一定要廟口加入，否則無法擺平由廟口為首的其他十幾個角頭。艋舺的第一聲槍響，後壁厝老大masa死了，整個艋舺黑道因此產生劇烈搖晃，太子幫五人的友誼也是，他們捲入大人世界的陰謀浪濤中，不知命運會帶他們去哪裡。

Schoolgirl Monami (Kawamura Yukie) is in love with dashing classmate Mizushima (Saitoh Takumi), but he's already got a hot girlfriend named Keiko (Otoguro Eri). Not a problem as it turns out Monami is actually a vampire! She gives Mizushima laced chocolates on Valentine's Day to infect him with vampire blood, and then confesses her true identity and undying love. Jealous girlfriend Keiko tries to fight back by throwing Monami off the school rootfop but falls to her own death instead. Not a problem because it turns out Keiko's father (Tsuda Kanji) is a mad scientist and he resurrects his daughter using bits and pieces of her dead classmates. Armed with their undead powers, Vampire Girl and Frankenstein Girl face off for love in an ultra-bloody catfight!
